The Donut is a consumable item in Jailbreak that heals players upon use. It can be acquired by entering the Donut Shop, pickpocketing a Police officer, vending machines in Homes & Penthouses, at the cafeteria in the Prison, or near the sleeping NPC police officer at the Maximum Security Prison.
Overview
When consumed by left-clicking, the Donut will restore a certain amount of a player's health (20 for criminals, 30 for police). It can only be consumed once before disappearing from the player's hotbar.
Trivia
- The Donut used to give a random color from 16 available donut colors. As of the Weapons and Items Update, it is now only available in pink.
- This is one of the two items that heals players, along with the Forcefield Launcher. This is also one of the three healing mechanisms in the game, with the others being the Ambulance and the aforementioned Forcefield Launcher.
- Before April 28, 2018, it would stay in a player's inventory until they die or left the server, and could be consumed unlimited times; however, it would not heal them.
- Donuts heal Police more than Criminals. This was revealed in April 2018 on asimo3089's Twitter, as Badimo's Twitter was inactive at the time.
- This is one of the two items in the game that players can eat/drink, after the Energy Drink, since the meal trays in the prison and the vending machines are merely cosmetic and non-interactable.
- There are two skins that are inspired by the Donut: the Donut texture on vehicles and the Donut weapon skin.
- Before a Miscellaneous Update in 2019, players could spam the Donut, which would heal them up quicker.
- As of the August 2021 Update, the Donut can be obtained from a Donut Vending Machine in Houses & Apartments.
- There was a bug when running out of ammo and eating a Donut, the ammo would instantly regenerate the player's gun.
